Enhance Your Teaching License
Did you know that you can add a teaching area to your license through either coursework or testing? Endorsements allow educators to teach certain grade-levels or specific subject areas. Unlike certificates, which are licenses for educators, endorsements specify additional areas in which the educator is qualified to teach.
Bridgewater College offers add-on endorsements through coursework and rigorous academic subject tests prescribed by the Virginia Board of Education. One or more endorsements may be added to your license. Teach your passions by adding endorsements for instructing your favorite subjects!
