Dr. Attila Ambrus: Visiting Biochemist

Dr. Attila Ambrus will speak on the research he and Dr Rippa Sehgal have been conducting in a talk at Bridgewater College on Tuesday, March 31, at 5 p.m. in the McKinney Center, Room 100. Dr. Ambrus studies the impact that disease-causing mutations in mitochondrial enzymes have on the way cells produce energy. His findings may help explain how these mutations contribute to neurological diseases. Dr. Ambrus is a professor of Biochemistry at Semmelweis University in Budapest.
