The Princeton Review Recognizes High-Quality Education at Bridgewater College

Bridgewater College has been recognized by The Princeton Review as one of the Best Colleges in the Mid-Atlantic Region in this year’s new rankings. The accolade honors Bridgewater’s dedication to providing its students with an exceptional education.

The unranked, alphabetized list of Best Colleges in the Mid-Atlantic Region contains 97 institutions which The Princeton Review has determined to be “academically outstanding,” as well as “well worth consideration” by college-bound students.

The Princeton Review, an education services company that has served students and their families for over 40 years, collects and utilizes feedback from students at each college or university to help guide prospective students in their college search. Under BC’s profile on The Princeton Review’s website, students have praised the strength of Bridgewater’s academic programs, the opportunities for personal connections with faculty and the College’s affordability.

“It is exciting to be recognized once again for the truly unique Bridgewater experience,” said Michael Post, BC’s Vice President for Enrollment Management. “We are committed to providing a comprehensive education that encompasses engaging classroom instruction, valuable co-curricular activities and high-impact experiential learning. This accolade demonstrates that those who attend BC are seeing our hard work in action.”

Bridgewater continues to improve its top-notch education experience by expanding the learning opportunities available to students. In the 2024-25 academic year, Bridgewater has launched undergraduate majors in game design and criminology. Students majoring in game design will be provided the time, tools and mentorship for developing games of their own, and criminology students interested in law enforcement will be able to gain training and professional certification through the Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Training Academy. In addition, new master of arts and graduate certificate programs in nonprofit management will provide career advancement opportunities for both students and professionals in the nonprofit sector.
