Bridgewater College offices will be closed starting at noon on Friday, December 20 through Wednesday, January 1 for the holiday season. Campus offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 2.

For those wishing to make a contribution to the College in this tax year, gifts can be made at bridgewater.edu/give or by mail to Bridgewater College, Box 33, 402 East College Street, Bridgewater VA 22812. Credit card gifts must be completed on or before December 31, 2024, to be counted as a 2024 gift. Checks must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2024. Please call 540-828-5448 with any questions, and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Special Collections Exhibition: “A Showcase of Historic Brethren Artifacts”

The Robert R. Newlen ’75 & John C. Bradford Special Collections at Bridgewater College will display “A Showcase of Historic Brethren Artifacts:  Celebrating the 500th Anniversary of Anabaptism” from April 11 to Oct. 3, 2025.

The exhibition will feature a curated display of objects with written reflections on how each artifact tells a story about the history of the Church of the Brethren

The exhibition is free to the public and shows on the lower level of the John Kenny Forrer Learning Commons during the hours that the building is open to the public:

  • 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays
  • 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays
  • 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays
  • Noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays
