Bridgewater College offices will be closed starting at noon on Friday, December 20 through Wednesday, January 1 for the holiday season. Campus offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 2.

For those wishing to make a contribution to the College in this tax year, gifts can be made at bridgewater.edu/give or by mail to Bridgewater College, Box 33, 402 East College Street, Bridgewater VA 22812. Credit card gifts must be completed on or before December 31, 2024, to be counted as a 2024 gift. Checks must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2024. Please call 540-828-5448 with any questions, and we will return your call as soon as possible.

For any campus-related emergencies during the break, please call campus police and safety at 540-578-0652. Best wishes for a happy and safe holiday season!

Eagles We Haul 2024

We are gearing up for the newest class, and we need your help! We are looking for a convocation of Eagles (faculty, staff AND alumni) to welcome the Class of 2028 to BC. What better way to say WELCOME HOME than to carry a mini-fridge up three flights of stairs?!

Okay, not everyone can lift a fridge, but we need your help at our annual Eagles We-Haul as we welcome our new flock on Thursday, August 22!

  • Unpack cars and deliver contents to residence halls
  • Help families navigate campus
  • Hand out cold water
  • Welcome families with a warm smile and some BC spirit!

Start your shift at the Center for Engaged Learning house (#13 on campus map) at 7:30 a.m. to check in, grab your volunteer t-shirt, enjoy a breakfast treat and receive a quick training from the Alumni team.

After move-in is complete, we are inviting all faculty, staff and alumni to join us for a THANK YOU pizza party at the Alumni Relations House!
