Certificate Overview*

AI is becoming part of everyday coursework and careers across industries. The AI Literacy Certificate prepares students to engage with these tools thoughtfully and effectively.

Open to students of all majors, the certificate is designed to fit within your degree plan. Courses are structured to build skills step by step, helping you apply AI tools in class and beyond.

You’ll learn in a supportive environment that encourages exploration, discussion, and real-world application. The certificate consists of four courses (12 credits) and moves from foundational concepts to applied and ethical uses of AI.

  • IDS 106: AI Literacy for Everyone
  • IDS 107: AI for Decision Making
  • IDS 206: AI for Creativity and Design
  • IDS 207: AI Ethics
