If you ask any student what they like the most about being a student at Bridgewater, many will bring up living on campus first because of the fun and energetic community they find. Imagine 1,500 people about your age all living within five minutes of each other; an active campus where the majority of students are involved in at least one club, organization, or sport; being within a short walking distance to most of what you need for a complete college experience; knowing just about everyone on campus by their first name.

Welcome to residence life at Bridgewater. It's where you'll have the opportunity to express your opinions, share your ideas, and make a difference in the campus community through involvement in special residence life programming, plus organizations such as Residence Hall Governance. You can become a resident assistant (RA), trained to assist fellow students and to help the resident director oversee the operation of the residence halls.

We offer nine possibilities for student housing, ranging from traditional dormitories to apartments or honors housing. Freshmen live in traditional dormitories, while apartments are reserved for upper-class students. We offer honors housing to students based their citizenship, academic standing, and character. We call it "honors"� housing because students live on their honor; there are no residence life staff in the building. All rooms are furnished with beds, dressers, desks, cable and Internet hookups, and each building offers TV and study lounges, laundry rooms, and kitchens.

We offer several dining options including the Main Dining Hall, located in the Kline Campus Center (KCC), where you'll find everything you could possibly want; Eagle's Nest, also located in the KCC, where you can relax over sandwiches and fries; and Grab "˜n' Go stations, which is exactly as the name implies with three convenient locations on campus.
