Additional Information

Collect Calls and Third Party Bill Back

If you accept collect calls on your extension or make a call while off campus and bill it to your extension, you will be billed a five dollar ($5.00) service fee for each call in addition to the cost of the call. This charge is necessary to cover the extra cost burdens of Bridgewater College and Ntelos because of the limitations of Ntelos' billing in conjunction with the College's PBX switch.

Courtesy Phones

Courtesy phones are located near the main lobby in all campus buildings. These courtesy phones allow calls to on-campus extensions, to local off-campus numbers, and to toll-free off-campus numbers, including calling card calls. To place an emergency call from a courtesy phone, dial 9 - 911.

Telephone Bills

Phone bills for long distance charges are produced and mailed by the 5th of each month. Phone bills are paid in the Business Office and are due by 4:00 p.m. on the 20th of each month. If the 20th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, you will have until 4:00 p.m. the following Monday to pay your phone bill.

If payment on your phone bill is delinquent for three billing periods, your authorization code will be deactivated. If you fail to pay your bill after being deactivated, the outstanding amount of the phone bill will be attached to your student account. When your student account is not paid in full, it can prevent you from taking final exams, registering for the next semester, or getting transcripts.

ATTENTION: If you are late in paying your phone bill, a late fee will be assessed. This late fee is assessed each month even if your phone and/or authorization code is deactivated.
